About this role
We are seeking a self-motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing and high-performing accounting team. In this critical role, you'll focus on maintaining the general ledger (GL), ensuring accuracy, and supporting a wide range of accounting activities across the company. As a key member of the team, you will play an instrumental role in scaling our accounting processes and systems while wearing many hats in a startup environment.
This is a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves role where your initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to the success of the accounting department and the company's growth. You'll need to be a proactive self-starter who thrives in a flexible, ever-evolving environment.
Your responsibilities
- General Ledger Management :
Perform month-end close procedures, account reconciliations, while investigating and resolving variances in ledger accounts
Identify opportunities for improvements in accounting procedures and contribute to the implementation of new tools or processes that improve efficiency and scalability
Is this you?
3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a fast-paced environment or a startup
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
A proactive, self-starter with a hands-on approach to tackling tasks and solving problems
