ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Strategically manage procurement of local Indirect Materials for US Wholesale business.
- Oversee and manage indirect procurement categories, spent & projects in close collaboration and alignment with local Senior Category Specialist as well as Global Category Managers where applicable (ex. Consulting & Professional Services, IT) based on individual workload, experience, local market knowledge, etc
- Engage effectively with stakeholders on strategic procurement topics. Stakeholders include mix of local business leads across Finance, HR, Sales, Operations, Facilities, IT, etc.
- Ensure procurement is being brought-in at 'discovery phase' or early in business process to ensure and enable proper procurement performance
- Re-)install and enforce standard procurement processes adherence (Rfx, PR / PO)
- Cascade the global targets and deliver annual financial and non-financial targets of the region
- Deliver indirect category benefits in region through sourcing, demand management, supplier relationship management and supplier development
