What You Will Do :
- As a Project Engineer, you will play the lead role in the design and coordination of roadway, drainage, and utility projects for our public and private clients.
- You will collaborate with other groups / disciplines within the company to deliver top quality projects and unparalleled service to our clients.
- Specific tasks that you will perform include design calculations, quantity and cost estimates, and plan preparation.
- You will compile, write, and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos and specifications for projects.
- You will also help with proposals, project budgets and schedules, planning activities, and public involvement and other presentation opportunities.
- You will oversee the work of EITs or Technicians.
As you advance in your career, you may also plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to ensure that projects are delivered within prescribed time frames and budgets. The coordination activities include regular communication with the client, project schedule and budget oversight and subconsultant coordination.
