What You Will Do :
As a Roadway Designer / OpenRoads Designer (ORD) 3D Modeler, you will embark on an exciting journey to : :
Develop Innovative Designs : Under the guidance of a registered Texas engineer, you'll craft cutting-edge roadway, drainage, and related designs that push the boundaries of engineering excellence.
Drive Technical Excellence : Prepare and refine technical drawings for Texas transportation projects, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards.
Lead Collaborative Efforts : Provide leadership and direction to Engineering Technicians, engineers in training, and other professional staff, fostering an environment of teamwork and innovation.
Craft Construction Plans : Create comprehensive plan sheets and sets that serve as blueprints for construction, meticulously detailing every aspect of the project.
Embrace 3D Design : Experience with OpenRoads Designer (ORD) 3D Modeler is preferred, offering you the opportunity to explore new dimensions of creativity and efficiency.
What You Will Bring :
The ideal candidate will possess :
Passion for Excellence : An Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
Boldness in Action : While 0 - 20 years of experience in Municipal / Transportation engineering or a related field is preferred, we welcome candidates with diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
Visionary Mindset : Proficiency in preparing, reading, and interpreting construction plans and technical documents, coupled with a strong grasp of design software packages, especially Bentley products (Microstation, Open Roads Designer, Geopak). Familiarity with Civil 3D is a plus, but not required.
Authentic Commitment : A valid driver's license with a stellar driving record, paired with exceptional communication skills and an unwavering work ethic that propels you towards excellence.
