What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graduate Engineer - Construction position at WSB LLC?
What You Will Do: You will be part of our Construction Services/Design Build Group with our Contract Administration team helping manage and deliver successful projects while performing field inspection, verify compliance with the plans and specifications, prepare pay estimates, and produce project documentation for private, municipal, county, MnDOT and federal projects. This position would exist within our Construction Services/Design Build Group and provide you an opportunity to continue to build your career and work in an enjoyable and challenging work environment.

As a Construction Graduate Engineer, you will:
- Assist with the inspection, surveying, materials testing and construction documentation for highway, land development and municipal construction projects.
- Specific tasks that you will perform include Inspection, contract administration, quantity and cost estimates, material certification, and project management.
- You will learn the industry by attending weekly meetings and interacting with contractors, owners, and project stakeholders.
What You Will Bring: The successful candidate must have
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school.
- Seeking 1-4 years of experience in Construction or related field is preferred.
- You will have the ability to prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a functional understanding of contract administration.
- Candidates must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this position.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
You must be comfortable working in all weather conditions. Due to the physical nature of the work, you must be able to lift 50 lbs. – 75 lbs. periodically. You are required to work with your hands, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. At times you may be working at or on uneven terrain, slopes, in confined spaces, or reinforced trenches.
