What You Will Do: Potential service areas for paid internships are listed below:
- Assist right of way agents in researching property ownership, drafting conveyance documents, obtaining mortgage releases, and setting up projects.
- Assist relocation agents with relocation tasks including meeting with displaced property owners and tenants, researching referrals, preparation of relocation claims, and coordination of move estimates and maintenance of the project spreadsheets for our clients.
- Attend meetings with clients, design staff and landowners to discuss project impacts to parcels and address landowners’ concerns.
- Work on a variety of projects including transportation, transmission and renewable energy.
What You Will Bring: The successful candidate will be:
- Enrolled in a technical school, college or university studying in real estate, communications, business, planning, construction management, land surveying, or related field.
- Ability to work approximately 30 hours or more in an in-person environment during the summer of 2024.
- You must possess a valid driver’s license, have a clean driving record, and
- Have the ability to get to various worksite locations.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Our preferred candidate will have:
- Completed at least one year towards a two-year or four-year technical school, college or university majoring in the fields listed above.
