What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior CAD Technician - Bridge position at WSB LLC?
What You Will Do: As an Engineering Technician, you will
- Prepare, develop, and revise bridge and structural design drawings under the supervision of a registered engineer,
- Collaborate with engineering technicians, engineers in training, and other professional staff,
- Perform basic calculations for quantities and dimensions,
What You Will Bring: The successful candidate must have:
- 10 years of experience as a technician in Civil / Structural / Transportation engineering or related field is preferred, but not required. Additional experience is a plus.
- The ability to prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a strong understanding of design software packages, specifically Bentley products (Microstation, Open Roads Designer, Geopak). Additional experience with AutoDesk products such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or Revit is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and an eagerness to learn from others will allow you to excel in this position.
- Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology or similar degree from an accredited school is preferred, but not required.
