As the Card Services Analyst I, II, or III, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a team that impacts staff and members in direct and meaningful ways, each and every day! The Card Services Analyst is responsible for timely and accurate processing of various reports, production and adjustment functions to ensure seamless execution of WSECU’s credit, debit and gift card programs, Shared Branching services and ATM/Fleet operations for our members.

Your day might include:
  • Delivering outstanding service and support through responsive and positive interactions with co-workers, members, vendors and outside parties through various communication channels
  • Reviewing and auditing daily, weekly, and monthly card production and exception reports in a timely manner
  • Processing special card orders to ensure cards are produced and shopped as expected
  • Reconciling and researching all discrepancies for monthly GL balancing accurately and timely
  • Providing phone, chat, and email responses to members and coworkers for operational, technical and support needs related to processing functions under the responsibility of Card Services
  • Handling incoming and outgoing member and employee calls on Credit/Debit and Gift Card programs, ATM Terminal operations and Shared Branching, as well as performing effective and timely processing on department related office operating functions
  • Handling escalated, complex, and emotionally charged calls involving card or terminal related processing gaps and taking decisive actions quickly to resolve issues, restore services, and initiate service recovery on behalf of WSECU to its members
  • Providing technical support with various software platforms, including: Image Center ATM, Shared Branching, Visa DPS, Visa Payment Account Manager (Prepaid), and Instant Card Issuance

For Card Services Analyst I:
Competitive pay: $20.86 - $31.29 per hour, dependent on relevant qualifications plus an annual discretionary incentive plan and benefits
  • The target starting pay for this position is $20.86 - $26.07 per hour, typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicant’s pay history into account.
  • Minimum One (1) year of financial institution experience, with preferred experience in a back office operating area
  • Experience with the ability to utilize office automation and operate effectively in a network environment
  • Experience in customer service and data entry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PDF technologies
  • Practical knowledge of and the ability to interpret federal regulations pertaining to banking functions
  • Ability to calculate figures, understand and perform general ledger account balancing, and use percentages and statistics to identify anomalies and variances
  • Ability to operate a 10-key accurately
For Card Services Analyst II:
Competitive pay: $23.29 - $34.94 per hour, dependent on relevant qualifications plus an annual discretionary incentive plan and benefits
  • The target starting pay for this position is $23.29 - $29.12 per hour, typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicant’s pay history into account.
  • Minimum Three (3) years’ of financial institution experience with two (2) years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience with the ability to utilize office automation and operate effectively in a network environment
  • Experience in customer service and data entry
  • Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PDF technologies
  • Ability to operate a 10-key accurately
  • Practical knowledge of and the ability to interpret federal regulations pertaining to banking functions
  • Ability to calculate figures, understand and perform general ledger account balancing, and use percentages and statistics to identify anomalies and variances
For Card Services Analyst III:
Competitive pay: $26.64 - $39.96 per hour, dependent on relevant qualifications plus an annual discretionary incentive plan and benefits
  • The target starting pay for this position is $26.64 - $33.30 per hour, typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicant’s pay history into account.
  • Minimum Five (5) years’ of financial institution experience with three (3) years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience with the ability to utilize office automation and operate effectively in a network environment
  • Experience in customer service and data entry
  • Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PDF technologies.
  • Practical knowledge of and the ability to interpret federal regulations pertaining to banking functions
  • Ability to calculate figures, understand and perform general ledger account balancing, and use percentages and statistics to identify anomalies and variances
  • Ability to operate a 10-key accurately
Bonus points if you have:
  • Advanced knowledge and practice experience with Reg E, CC, and Z
  • Advanced understanding and use of VISA and Shared Branching Operating Rules and Guidelines
  • Experience with Symitar, CO-OP Shared Branching and VISA DPS processing services and reporting functions
**WSECU is currently hiring a Card Services Analyst I, II, or III dependent on qualifications**
  • The range above allows our employees room for growth through annual merit and other pay increase during their tenure in the position.
Where we’re located: 330 Union Ave SE Olympia, WA. Employee must reside and perform all work in the state of Washington. This is a hybrid position that blends working in-office and from home. Works onsite one (1) occasion per week.

Working from home/hybrid requirements:
  • Reliable, high-speed home internet connection
  • Private, confidential workspace, away from distractions and other people
  • Suitable desk/surface and desk chair
When you’d work: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 5:30 pm, full time minimum 40 hours per week with scheduling flexibility to meet service needs for this non-exempt position
