Job Duties
- Manage and optimize property management software platforms, including Yardi Voyager, PayScan, CheckScan, Rent Café, and Site
- Manager. Support day-to-day operations, troubleshoot software issues, audit resident ledgers, ensure compliance, and oversee the training and onboarding of new staff.
- This role is essential to maintaining accurate financial reports, improving operational processes, and enhancing resident engagement, making it a dynamic and impactful position within the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Property Management Systems Setup & Configurations
Set up, configure, and maintain Yardi Voyager, Rent Café, Site Manager, and other property management platforms.Assist with new property onboarding and feature implementations in coordination with senior team leaders.Identify opportunities for system enhancements and provide recommendations for improvements.Point person for Work Number, Anyone Home, GoTo VOIP PhonesFacilitate the purchasing process for computers, peripherals, and software in accordance with company policies.Research and recommend technological solutions that meet business needs.Work with vendors to obtain quotes, compare pricing, and negotiate favorable terms.Ensure purchases comply with budgetary guidelines and procurement policiesCustomize property websites on Yardi-Rent Cafe or through other website providers to ensure they are accurate, engaging, and up to date.Handle domain registration and renewals.Support and Training
Manage user roles, including user creation, password resets, and access permissions for all systems.Provide technical support for Yardi Voyager and related systems, ensuring timely issue resolution for users at all levels and escalating technical problems through Yardi Client Central when necessary.Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to Yardi Voyager Affordable, PayScan, Rent Café,, and CheckScan.Provide technical solutions for system integration issues and user access errors, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.Develop and deliver training programs for new and existing staff on Yardi Voyager, Rent Café, Site Manager, and other relevant tools.Communicate and provide training for Yardi system upgrades.Accounting, Compliance Support & Operations Support
Audit resident ledgers regularly for discrepancies and errors and oversee resident ledger corrections by working withProperty Managers / Regional Property Managers to resolve issues ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.Audit gross potential rent reports and work with on-site teams to identify and correct any discrepancies in reported rent potential.Support compliance-related tasks, particularly for LIHTC, TRACS voucher processing and Housing Choice Vouchers.Monitor and track rent increases, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines and compliance standards.Ensure proper documentation and implementation of rent changes, following relevant laws and regulations.Manage the California Building Energy Benchmarking Program (AB 802) and City of LA EBEWE for all properties required to report.Coordinate with insurance brokers and properties regarding issuing requested / required insurance certificates.Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, IT support, or a related technical role.Expertise with Yardi Voyager, Rent Café, Site Manager, PayScan, and CheckScan.Experience managing user roles, permissions, and access for multiple systems.In-depth understanding of property management accounting and compliance, including LIHTC, Section 8, and Housing Choice Vouchers.Certified Property Manager (CPM) or similar certification.Familiarity with website management and property-specific platforms like Yardi Rent Cafe.Experience with Policy Partner and Synology or similar systems is a plus.Achieve Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents.Previous experience managing Yardi support tickets and resolving system issues.Experience with data migration, system conversions, and process improvements.Experience in resident relations, engagement, and satisfaction initiatives.Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.Competence in operation of telephone, business calculator, copy machine, facsimile, personal computer / keyboard, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.Must possess a valid Driver's License, reliable transportation and current auto insurance coverage as this position may require some driving for company business.Compensation
Base Pay Start Rate : $85,000 - $105,000.The Company also offers competitive benefits for full-time employees including paid time off, 15 paid company holidays, matching 401k, and health benefits.
