What You'll Do:

• Provide hands-on care in a secure, medically diverse environment

• Respond to urgent and emergent medical situations

• Manage high-volume med passes with precision

• Collaborate with dedicated correctional and clinical teams

• Be part of a mission that supports rehabilitation and dignity through care

Position Overview:

• Location: Sterling, Colorado

• Shifts: 12–13 hour Day & Swing

• Status: Full-Time, Part-Time & PRN

• Pay: $46–$55/hr (DOE)

Mileage & Travel Support (Local Pay Applies):

• 50 miles: Mileage reimbursement

• 100 miles: Mileage hotel (per night worked)

• 200 miles: Full DOC travel package (mileage, hotel, food per diem)

Qualifications – What We’re Looking For:

• Active & Unencumbered RN License – Must be valid in Colorado or an eNLC state, with no disciplinary actions.

• CPR Certification (AHA) – Need one? We can help you get certified.

• Clean Background Check & Drug Screen – Required for CDOC clearance.

• 4-Day Defensive Tactics Training – Paid training held in Colorado Springs (physical participation required).

• Strong Clinical & Critical Thinking Skills – Experience in high-pressure environments preferred (ER/corrections a big plus).

• Excellent Communication & Teamwork – Collaboration with custody staff and fellow nurses is key.

• Schedule Flexibility – Must be willing to work 12 to 13-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Must be a Colorado Resident
