Busy office in Uptown Denver is seeking a hardworking and dedicated Medical Records & HIM Specialist. The Medical Records & HIM Specialist will be responsible for prepping our new EMR for incoming patients. Job Duties include scanning, filing, and transferring documents from paper charts to EMR. Duties include :
- Preparing charts
- Scanning records into the EMR
- Organizing patient-related files and documents for patient visits
- Faxing
- Filing
- Maintenance of records office
This position requires at least one year of solid medical records experience and ability to work full-time, in-office.
