Pay: $20-$25 Plus Tip Potential & Mileage Reimbursement

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable PAW Porter Pet Waste Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional pet waste cleanup services, ensuring that our clients' properties remain clean and hygienic. Your primary duties will involve cleaning up loose dog waste, emptying pet waste stations, and refilling bags in both residential and multi-family apartment community settings throughout the Salt Lake Valley.

Responsibilities

As a PAW Porter Pet Waste Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness of apartment communities and yards of single-family homes. Upon arriving at work, you will check in using our app and begin your shift. You will be assigned locations each shift and you'll play a crucial role in maintaining clean and hygienic environments in both single-family homes and multi-family communities throughout Salt Lake County. This position involves the thorough cleanup of loose dog waste, efficient emptying of pet waste stations, and refilling of bags to ensure continuous service. Ideal candidates should be pet-friendly, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., possess reliable transportation, and have a smartphone with a current data plan. Additionally, candidates must be comfortable wearing a body camera during working hours to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Special events or seasonal changes that might increase or decrease waste output temporarily. Operational adjustments or unforeseen circumstances that could either shorten or extend your shift.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while performing job duties.
• Transporting these materials to designated on-site dumpsters, trash bins, or compactors.
• Engaging with residents you encounter, providing a friendly and professional service.
• Uploading photos into our app to document your findings.
• At the end of your shift, you will check out using our app.
• This position requires extensive walking and, in some cases, climbing stairs.
• This role is not just about maintaining cleanliness but also about enhancing client satisfaction applicants must be friendly and love dogs.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in all assigned areas.
• Driving to our office for supplies as necessary

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be conscientious, reliable, and exhibit a friendly and helpful attitude towards both dogs, clients & residents.
• A valid Driver's License and ability to operate a motor vehicle in Utah is required.

(Valid documentation including, but not limited to Auto Liability Insurance and Driver's license must be maintained.)

• Reliable transportation is required to travel between job sites.
• Must be able to physically lift and transport up to 50 lbs. and able to work in indoor and outdoor environments during various weather conditions.
• Must be able to ascend or descend stairs and walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to speak, read and write in English
• Possess a smartphone with an active data plan and location services enabled
• Willingness to wear a body camera during working hours.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
