Outside Sales Executive - Law Enforcement / Public Safety

To meet the ever-growing needs of our clients, we have expanded our capabilities to include a newly released cloud offering with innovative AI solutions and are looking for a Sales Leader to drive the launch of this product in new and existing markets throughout the US. The WSI Technologies Sales team consults with current / new customers and presents them with solutions specific to their needs from industry leaders NICE systems and iRecord. Team members are expected to manage multiple accounts simultaneously, actively learn their clients' business and build long term relationships.

This position :

The Outside Sales Executive is an entrepreneurial sales professional who is driven by the work of WSI Technologies and is eager to bring new capabilities to market. This Sales Leader will be excited to launch new products / services and open the door to new clients and markets throughout the Midwest. Compensation plans include base pay, benefits, expense account, company vehicle or car allowance, attractive commissions and exotic incentive trips.

This key role is focused on acquiring new customers and selling additional products and services into existing accounts. This person is accountable for exceeding monthly and quarterly quotas, proactive deal management, forecast accuracy and building exceptional relationships with our clients.

Responsibilities :

  • Drive success of the company's goals and objectives through achieving individual sales quotas
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline through prospecting efforts for Cloud / SaaS product throughout the Midwest with specific focus in public safety, law enforcement, court systems and child advocacy
  • Conduct discovery sessions with prospects and customers via web or in-person
  • Develop and negotiate complex, enterprise-level proposals and contracts
  • Forecast sales activity and revenue achievements accurately through proper use of sales tools
  • Collaborate closely with Senior Leadership, Product Experts and Technical Services to share client feedback, close deals and effectively execute sold transactions
  • Travel as necessary, 50%

Qualifications :

  • Desire to hunt new prospects and win business
  • Process and relationship driven with a proven ability to be consistent in activities that drive sales success
  • Ability to deliver presentations and explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Exceptional listening skills and desire to serve as a consultant to clients for current and future needs
  • Business-minded with an understanding of contracts, revenue, margins and developing mutually beneficial deals with clients and closing complex cycles
  • Software sales experience (Saas / Cloud) and background selling to governmental entities a plus
  • College degree (preferred); must have demonstrated success securing new clients (logos) and growing a sales territory
