Our Human Resources Generalist is responsible for hiring, administering benefits, performance management, employee relations, and enforcing company policy. This full-time salary position is located onsite with our customer, Kimberly-Clark, and will primarily work Monday-Friday, but will need to be available to flex their schedule to meet the demands of this 24X7 operation periodically, as needed.

- Recruit and hire new talent, collaborate with leadership to understand needs required for positions.
- Execute new hire and benefit orientations, and manage benefits and associated leave tracking for employees.
- Ensure appropriate performance management documentation is completed for employees through leadership.
- Participate in employee meetings, separations of employment, and employee investigations.
- Lead corporate HR initiatives onsite such as benefit open enrollment and performance review processes.
- Develop and propose employee engagement plans, getting necessary budget approval, and initiating activities.
- Partner with onsite Customer, Kimberly-Clark, to share applicable updates, as related to recruitment and retention.
- Maintains compliance with employment regulations, and recommended best practices.
- Responsible to lead and coach a Human Resources Coordinator onsite.
- Ability to flex work schedule to address special needs, and be “on call” for Human Resources related concerns.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with an ability to have high capacity.
- Time management skills with an ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and partner with HR Coordinator.
- Approachable, with an ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of Human Resources processes, employment-related laws, and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn organization’s HRIS systems quickly.
- Ability to lead; successfully develops team member, directs work, and communicates expectations and objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related experience.
- At least five years Human Resources experience, and within an operational or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk, typing on a computer, and talking on the phone.
- Must be able to walk through production environment to access and navigate each department at the facility.
- Ability to repetitively twist or turn; stand, climb, kneel, stoop and squat, as needed.
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow dress code guided by the company.
- Travel in a car and an airplane 15% of the time.
- Ability to sit for extended periods within an office environment.
- Ability to use hands and fingers for computer keyboarding, and answer phone calls.
- Ability to communicate via the telephone using speaking and hearing skills.
