What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver Recruiter position at WSI?
The ITS Driver Recruiter and Industrial Relations Representative is responsible for the administration and performance of the Industrial Relations program in the following areas: Driver Recruiting, Policies and Procedures, Safety, Personnel Requirements, Staffing and Training. Extensive travel will be required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recruitment and interviewing for potential new employees
- Pre-employment drug testing, physicals, and background
- New employee orientation
- Works with IR Department to ensure compliance with DOT, labor laws/EEOC/company policy.
- Unemployment claims
- Conducts and/or assist in employee training.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Communicate company benefits and assist employees with questions.
- Conduct employee meetings on a one-on-one basis periodically.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have good written and verbal communications skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Must have a thorough knowledge of WSI/ITS policies and procedures.
- Forklift certified or able to obtain certification.
- Must be able to lift 55 lbs.
- Must be prepared to travel extensively.
