What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hourly OS&D/Training Clerk position at WSI?
- Ensure a safe and secure work environment.
- Interface with Michelin Customer Service/Representatives as required. Ensure all email requests are responded to and completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain good communication with the Management Team for new, in-process or completed training and process verification results.
- Manage the training program to ensure all employee training is completed in a timely manner from orientation to equipment training to operations.
- Update the training matrix and/or program and with employee training dates for the corresponding document/work instruction and revision.
- Update the training matrix for any new or revised documents/work instructions.
- Monitor material handling equipment training and report any training needs.
- Coordinate training needs daily with the operations manager and quality manager.
- Complete process audits or verification of effectiveness forms following completed employee training for verification of competency.
- Review and investigate all OSD’s and RLO’s per the instructions, including:
- Obtaining PODs for straight over or short claims.
- Pulling the load documentation.
- Requesting and reviewing cycle count requests.
- Reviewing system adjustments.
- Reviewing scan reports for errors, timing, overrides, and repeat scans.
- Review all accepted claims with the QA/IC Manager and Ops Manager, with copies of all documentation.
- Determine which products need to be counted and give a list of the products to the cycle counters.
- Respond to all OSDs/RLOs in the Michelin OSD/RLO system in a timely manner.
- Maintain/update the Accepted-Unknown OSD/RLO log/daily.
- Ensure inventory has validated all receipt discrepancies. Create all RLO’s for receipt discrepancies through the Michelin RLO system within 1-2 business days of receipt.
- Collect dock error sheets daily and maintain/update the Dock/Audit error log daily.
- Complete any additional required internal and external daily/weekly/monthly forms, reporting and dashboards.
