As our Logistics Sales rep, your Key Responsibilities are (NOT LIMITED TO):
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients through lead generation, cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Present, promote, and sell freight forwarding solutions to both new and existing customers.
- Negotiate rates, contracts, and service agreements to ensure profitable and sustainable business growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to better serve customers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and sales campaigns tailored to freight forwarding services.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, managing and reporting on sales pipeline and progress.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and client feedback to management.
Qualifications:
- Min 1 year experience in international logistics sales or related capacity.
- Strong knowledge of global shipping, customs regulations, and international trade processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and MS Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
