What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Supervisor position at WSI?
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate daily face to face with all DC personnel
- Ensure and encourage safe, secure and professional work conditions
- Recognize improvement, achievements and progress
- Conduct and interface in meetings with associates
- Set overall performance expectations
- Oversee shipping/OSD clerks and participate in performance reviews and conduct disciplinary actions as necessary
- Manage the training program, perform training as necessary, maintain records and measure training effectiveness
- Develop, implement, monitor and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Perform process audits and monitor performance of the site
- Assist in Internal and External Audits (ISO, CTPAT, customer, etc.)
- With the management team develop and implement root cause corrective actions, and drive preventive actions and continuous improvements at the site
- Monitor, measure, report and control quality results (dock errors, claims, KOI results, etc.)
- Monitor and maintain document management
- Complete required internal and external daily/weekly/monthly forms, reporting and dashboards
- Ensure timely and accurate RLO and OSD responses
- Backup clerical functions and inventory supervisor as necessary
- Interface internally, with the client, their customers and the carriers
- Other duties assigned by the Site Manager, QA/IC Specialist or West Coast Inventory/Quality Manage
