WSP is currently initiating a search for a Cost Engineer for our Los Angeles, CA office. Be involved in projects with our Project Controls Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.
Your Impact
Responsibilities :
- Oversight of Finance, Cost and Change Management and Document monitoring and controls
- Create budgeting forecasts to support Program and Project activities
- Review, monitor and control contractor and consultant budgets and expenditure
- Timely identification and analysis of Cost and Project Changes and make recommendations to resolve to the Program Manager
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, cash flows, financial reports, and other financial projections
- Create / maintain financial models to track and allocate costs
- Prepare and track acquisition packages for reimbursement
- Develop regular progress reports for the Program Manager and Program Management Office (PMO)
- Demonstrate professional acumen in executive level settings
- Develop and manage implementation of project controls processes including detailed change management processes and reporting
- Analyze various business case scenarios and provide recommendations
- Prepare memos, reports, briefings, proposals, and other client deliverables that include spreadsheets, complex graphs, charts, and tables
- Provide oversight of vendor selection, progress of contractors, progress reports, change orders, completion of punch lists, project completion and review of close out documents
- Provide direct oversight of the review and processing of invoices
- Project Accounting Oversight

Expected Salary : $197,190 - $240,220
