WSP has an opportunity for a Part Time Pavement/Materials Engineer in our Albuquerque, NM office.This position will support pavement and materials engineering at our Albuquerque, New Mexico Earth and Environmental (E&E) branch. Your Impact
- Work with other senior engineers supporting our pavement engineering group.
- Work with an established project team in completing projects include construction management, construction quality management, special inspections, materials testing and laboratory testing in both construction materials and pavement applications
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering degree
- Minimum 7 - 10 years experience on construction materials engineering-related projects
- Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated and capable of independent work. Demonstrated ability to work on project teams
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must pass background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy
- PE desired but not required
- Experience on AMRL and CCRL Laboratory Accreditations
- Experience on NMDOT Laboratory Accreditations and WAQTC/TTQP Program
- Experience on NMDOT CEM project management and project closeout processes
