Compensation:
Expected Salary (Colorado only): $83,200 - $136,620
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position within the state of Colorado, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
- 5 years' experience with travel demand model development or similar data science applications
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of travel behavior, travel demand modeling and forecasting
- Ability to program in Python or R
- Experience conducting statistical analyses of travel survey and passively-collected travel data
- Ability to analyze and explain model outputs and travel demand forecasts including performance metrics and travel behavior impacts.
- Experience automating the process of model result summarization.
- Experience building dashboards in R Shiny, Tableau, and/or PowerBI.
- Experience performing GIS analysis using ArcGIS, QGIS and/or Leaflet.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, with strong writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to perform research and work on development or application of modeling features related to emerging transportation technologies, transformative modes, and shared mobilities.
- Ability to analyze and problem-solve
- Strong organizational skills and documentation techniques
- Master’s degree is preferred.
- Prior experience within the engineering consulting industry is preferred.
- Ability to program in Java desirable.
