WSP is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Construction Management team in Orlando.
Job Description
Who You Are
- Participate as a member of the Consultant Construction Engineering and Inspection (CCEI) contract team
- Direct a highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection project/program
- Plan and organize the work of subordinate and staff members; develop and/or review project specific policies, methods, practices, and procedures
- Review projects for conformance with Client standards
- Identify and pursue future opportunities
- Responsible for developing and maintaining an excellent professional relationship with those organizations to facilitate both the successful completion of current ongoing projects and the successful pursuit of follow-on assignments
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree Civil Engineering degree or similar field
- Registered in the State of Florida as a Professional Engineer (or if registered in another state, the ability to obtain registration in the State of Florida within six months).
- 10 years of engineering/construction experience
- 6 years of engineering experience of Two (2) of those years involved in relevant transportation projects to Exception: Five (5) years for Complex Category 2 (CC2) and PTS bridge structures
- Attend the CTQP Quality Control Manager course and pass the examination.
- FDOT Advanced MOT Certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)
