Responsibilities
Technical Expertise
- Working with Tekla Structures software
- Modeling and checking to contract documents
- Working with and providing connection design support for engineering staff
- Working with other CAD software packages Revit and AutoCAD
- Importing / Exporting different file formats like IFC files for coordination with other trades
- Working with Excel, Word, and PDF Xchange
- Works with vendors of all disciplines on content download and updates to the office standards
- Provides BIM/Revit project kick-off information
- Works as part of a BIM/CAD support team to achieve consistent results
- Demonstrates problem solving attitude
- Maintains a professional demeanor with clients and coworkers.
- Develops job knowledge and technical expertise through participation in educational and professional development opportunities.
- Takes charge of own development and performance by proactively seeking feedback from superiors and peers
- Assumes extreme ownership of his/her work both internally and externally
- Maintains composure under stress; perseveres in the face of adversity
- High School diploma.
- 10 years minimum experience with Tekla Structures and Structural Steel Buildings
- Possesses working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD,BIM 360/ACC, Navisworks Manage.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam in relationship to Revit PDF deliverables.
