WSP is currently initiating a search for a Transportation Director / Local Business Line Lead for our San Antonio, TX office. The candidate will play a key strategic leadership role in Texas as we continue to strengthen and expand our Transportation practice. WSP is playing a critical role in the growth and development of Central Texas, specifically with key public agencies, Texas Department of Transportation, Alamo Area MPO, VIA, Bexar County, City of San Antonio, City of New Braunfels and others. This role also is a leader in leveraging cross collaboration with Property and Buildings, Energy, Water, Federal, Advisory Services, and PMCM to bring value to our clients.
Your Impact
Operational Excellence
- Optimizes the client and employee experience through regular review and implements process improvements and automation.
- Focuses on innovation and enhancing health & safety, quality and sustainable standards.
- Develops local growth, forecast and business development strategy in collaboration with Local, Regional and National Business Line Leaders.
- Resolves conflict and other internal / external issues that may arise in the office, amongst WSP’s client base, or on projects.
- Collaborate with regional, district leaders and other area leaders to strategically drive the business, manage project performance, oversee overhead expenditures, and meet operational financial metrics.
