This Opportunity
WSP USA is initiating a search for a Full-time Electrical Power Studies' Manager for our New Yorkoffice. Other office locations considered are New Jersey, Philadelphia and Virginia.
Provides technical assistance, report execution, management and guidance for our in-house team in order to execute Short Circuit, Coordination, Arc Flash Studies' projects in the public and private sector. Responsibilities include pricing, planning, executing, directing, coordinating, managing, creating arc flash labels and final reports. Works with in-house team to execute, review, oversee SKM, EZ-Tap, EZ-Power single lines , models, analyses, scenarios and reports.
Substantiates data, analysis and reports regarding the systems and equipment, power studies. Ensures that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry codes, standards and requirements.
Specific Requirements :
- Proficient in Developing / Reviewing Short Circuit / Coordination / Arc Flash Studies.
- Certified Training with SKM and / or E-Tap, E-Z Power for Short Circuit / Coordination / Arc Flash programs.
- Knowledge and experience with IEEE, NFPA-70E, and PPE.
- Experience with 26kV, 5kV, 480v systems, switchgear and protection relays.
- Experience with Uninterruptable Power Supply's' (UPS), Back Up Battery Systems, Static Switches (STS) and Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), Emergency Generators and Power Distribution Units (PDUs).
- Good understanding of the architectural, engineering and construction industry.
- Ability to work independently and provide supervision in a highly collaborative team environment.

Compensation :
Expected Salary (all locations) : $99,800 - $132,200
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and / or federal law.
