our Impact M
- anage project teams for environmental projects including oversight of subcontractors and sampling of soil, soil vapor, sediment, surface water and groundwater in accordance with state and Federal regulations and generally accepted protocols. M
- anage environmental projects involving site characterization, remedial design, and environmental compliance, and responsible for ensuring that deliverables, schedules and budgets are achieved. D
- eveloping and maintaining communication channels with key clients, stake holders, and internal personnel to ensure that work flows smoothly as well as providing first class consultancy services. B
- usiness development to identify/develop new clients for our environmental business including networking outside and inside WSP. P
- rovide technical review for projects to comply with environmental laws, company standards, contract requirements and related specifications. W
- ill to travel to project sites primarily in New Mexico and occasionally across the mountain states of the West. Minimal overnight travel. M
- entoring and training junior staff. C
- ollaboration and participation in technical discussions with team members. M
- anage proposal preparation including innovative technical approaches and competitive pricing. Will prepare and perform client presentations. E
- xercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures W
ho You Are B
- .S. or M.S. degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or other related fields. P
- G or PE in state of New Mexico desired. 1
- 2 years of experience with increasing responsibility. S
- trong background providing environmental consulting services to clients in the Government, Industrial/Commercial, Mining, Oil & Gas, Energy and Transportation sectors. D
- emonstrated scientific or engineering expertise with Federal, State and Local environmental regulations. Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with field investigations associated with environmental site assessments, site remediation, field management, sampling etc. P
- roject Management experience including deliverables, schedules and budgets Must be a self-starter, team oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills B
- usiness development experience and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships as well as experience in proposal preparation. E
- xcellent computer skills including proficiency with the use of standard software packages including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint A
