oles and Responsibilities P

• rovide daily site inspections to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications and codes, and maintain up-to-date project records and test reports. R
• eview construction quantities and verify for the installed quantity. P
• erform Quality Assurance on the installed materials. A
• ct as the Owner’s agent with regards to the construction process. R
• eview progression of work to monitor and generally reconcile against construction schedule. R
• ead/Understand contractor submittals, request for information (RFI), change order requests, and as-built drawings and comments. C
• ommunicate conditions and field conflicts/changes to Resident Inspector. I
• nterface with client and the contractor, while working with, and taking direction from the Resident Inspector. K
• eep detailed records of contractor’s performance and progress. O
• versee/Track the technical submittal, shop drawing review and RFI process, with support of design lead. P
• repare daily construction log for all activities and project progress using the client’s software application/tool. A
• ssist the Resident Inspector with compiling data, for monthly reports. D
• evelop construction punch list E
• xercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct, and related policies and procedures. P
erform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

inimum Requirements: H

• igh-School Diploma 3
• years of experience in field inspection, in civil, mechanical, disciplines work on water/wastewater projects (earthwork, roads, utilities, infrastructure, paving, pumping stations, wastewater treatment plants. O
• SHA certified N
• ASSCO certification E
• xperience in storm water management and environmental projects. H
• ighly familiar with construction inspection principles, field inspection practices, processes, methods and techniques. H
• ighly familiar with relevant construction codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements. A
• bility to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team to meet business objectives. S
• olid knowledge in MS Office including Excel, Word and Outlook. S
• olid knowledge of Oracle Contract Management (CM-14)/Oracle Unifier or e-Builder. P
• roven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol, and harassment policies. V
• alid driver’s license W

xpected Salary (all locations): $27-32/hour W
