This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Wastewater Treatment Plant Technician for our Blackhawk, Colorado plant. Be involved in projects with our Mine Water Treatment Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.
Your Impact
- Assist colleagues in the water treatment plant process with monitoring and adjustments.
- Perform laboratory water and process sampling QA / QC which includes solids analysis and benchtop spectrophotometer analysis of water samples.
- Perform influent and downstream water source sample collection at remote locations.
- Perform data collection and data entry of process and other operations information into operations logbooks up to 6 times per day.
- Perform filter press operation up to 12 times per day.
- Coordinate proper disposal of treatment plant residuals and wastes with local waste management contractors.
- Monitor extended systems critical to plant process (including chemical feeds, influent water sources, and lift stations).
- Perform operation and maintenance of skid steer type equipment for offloading deliveries and performing snow removal.
- Assist maintenance personnel with repairs and maintenance, including grounds maintenance, as required.

Expected Salary : $19.38 - $30.05
