We are seeking passionate and motivated individuals within our community to support our Asset Protection department in-store. These roles require proactive individuals who can effectively detect, prevent, and address security threats, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and legal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Protocols: Implement and enforce safety measures, including emergency response plans and hazard prevention strategies, to ensure the safety of employees and customers.
- Communication & Collaboration: Maintain clear and effective communication with team members, customers, and law enforcement to ensure proper coordination in the event of security concerns or emergencies.
- Problem Solving: Leverage problem-solving abilities to assess potential security threats and develop actionable solutions to mitigate risks and prevent loss.
- Conflict Resolution: Approach challenging situations with empathy, resolving conflicts diplomatically while ensuring a positive experience for both customers and staff members.
- Legal Compliance: Stay informed about laws related to theft, fraud, and shoplifting, ensuring that actions taken in response to security incidents are within legal boundaries.
- Surveillance & Monitoring: Leverage expertise in surveillance systems, such as CCTV cameras, to oversee store operations and detect any suspicious activities or potential security risks.
- Time Management: Efficiently manage multiple tasks, prioritizing responsibilities to ensure smooth operations and optimal asset protection strategies.
Requirements:
- Experience in asset protection, loss prevention, security, or related fields, particularly in a retail environment, is preferred but not required to apply.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certifications in loss prevention or security management are a plus.
- Experience with RECOM (Recovery of Merchandise) is a plus.
- Availability for approximately 45 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
- Willingness to relocate within a 25-mile radius as business needs dictate.
