Overview / Job Summary:
The Coordinator, Talent Acquisition is responsible for full cycle recruiting process (attracting, engaging and retaining talent) for WSU Tech.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to:
- Coordinates recruitment and employment-related activities, including job posting, scheduling interviews, onboarding, and other activities to recruit and retain the best talent available
- Ensures legal and compliant recruitment and hiring practices
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to the principle of belonging and investment in our values
- Develops sources of qualified applicants and builds a pipeline of talent for future/or unexpected hiring needs
- Leverages social networking and other recruiting technologies and tools to connect with a broad and diverse talent network
- Provides an exceptional candidate experience during the interview process and maintains professional relationships
- Consults with hiring managers to carry out a recruitment strategy that best aligns with the needs of the position-specific hiring process. To include developing the position-specific process and sourcing interview questions to explore candidates’ fit with the college culture, position needs, and requirements
As the Coordinator of Talent Acquisition at WSU Tech, you will be instrumental in shaping our workforce and ensuring that we attract the talent needed to fulfill our mission.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or related field preferred
Qualifications:
- Two or more years of recruiting experience is preferred
- Experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS) and HRIS database preferred
- Experience with full cycle recruiting and talent acquisition preferred
- PHR, SPHR, GPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, willingness to obtain within two years of hire
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products and programs
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices and legal responsibilities
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Ability to fulfill all duties with minimal supervision and to work independently
- Assess situations rapidly and make logical decisions in a timely manner
- Analyze facts and exercise sound judgment
