- Compensation: $58,926.40 /yr

The Faculty, Culinary Arts are responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation presentation and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities for WSU Tech.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to:
- Creates and/or uploads an appropriate course syllabus for each course to the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Keeps students informed and updated concerning course content, requirements, evaluation procedures and attendance requirements
- Maintains accurate and complete scholastic records including course messaging in the LMS, grades, census rosters and attendance records
- Submits all scholastic records by the established due date
- Evaluates students to measure their progress toward the achievement of course outcomes and/or competencies
- Utilizes the appropriate college resources (Navigate, grade center, course messaging etc.) to provide timely feedback to students regarding individual progress in each course
Requirements
Education:
- Certified Culinary Educator with ACF of Certified Executive Chef or Associate's degree in culinary or related discipline.
- ServSafe Manager's Certificate or ability to obtain before the semester begins
- Minimum exp. - 7 years food service management experience, 5 years culinary education
- Previous experience in culinary competitions preferred
- Previous teaching or training experience in adult education preferred
- Must be available for required course assignments
- Knowledge of and/or ability to learn the assessment repository system (WIDS)
