WT Equipment is an agricultural and light construction equipment dealership with 8 locations in Arkansas and Louisiana. Some of the major brands we offer include New Holland, Bush Hog, Bush-Whacker, Great Plains, and Hustler. The dealership has been family owned since 1973. We pride ourselves in offering our customers the best products to meet their equipment and service needs. We have an opening for an Ag Equipment Sales Representative at our Berryville location.
Position Specifics:
Department: Sales
Reports to: Store Manager or Sales Manager
Purpose:
Sells new and used ag equipment, farm implements, light construction equipment and lawn & garden equipment to new and existing customers in the area.
Essential Functions:
Field salesman of lawn & garden equipment, ag equipment and light construction equipment.
Knowledge of inventory and sales priorities
Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership
Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly
Monitors trends in customer’s business activities
Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used equipment
Attends applicable sales training events/seminars
Maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes in coordination with the store manager.
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
1 years equipment sales experience or equivalent related experience
Knowledge of agricultural equipment and operation preferred
Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office, social media and internet functions
Ability to work flexible hours
Excellent customer relationship skills
Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
College Degree preferred
