Functional Job Title: Structured Credit Transactions Management Associate (Asset Backed Lending, Direct Lending, and CLO)
Firm: Rapidly Growing Alternative Investment Manager
Background Description: A successful and rapidly growing asset manager's private businesses have grown significantly over recent years and high caliber talent is needed to help support continued business growth, improve processes and scale operations. This is a strategic position that will focus on managing the private loans deal pipeline process across the firm.
Role Description:
- An integral member of a team that manages the firmwide deal pipeline for asset backed loans, syndicated and bilateral loans, and CLO closings
- Prepare due diligence questionnaires
- Perform financial statements analysis
- Organize and track legal, financial, and operational information received externally and internally
- Prepare pro forma debt capital structures
- Assist in the final review and execution of credit agreements, commitment letters, fee letters, amendments, etc.
- Work closely with teams across the organization including Deal teams, compliance, investor relations, legal, middle office, operations, technology, potential investors, service providers as well as other groups to manage transaction executions/closings
- Track loan pipeline and status management for all deals across the firm
- Oversee the gathering of key data points and help drive pipeline status through deal closing
- Improve overall business processes related to pipeline management and deal closing
Qualifications:
- 2 years relevant investment banking experience, working with bank loan/private credit/asset-based loans space
- Knowledgeable with financial statements analysis, ideally for credit transactions
- Experience working with credit transaction structures, such as asset-based warehouse credit facilities, syndicated loans, or term loans
- Strong knowledge of documentation for closing transactions, including credit agreements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and interact directly with investment and legal professionals
- Candidates from Alternative Investment Managers, Merchant Banks, and Investment Banks who are knowledgeable with asset backed debt, credit, bank loans, syndicated loans, CLO's and related loan documents will be considered
Salary : $150,000 - $195,000
