We are seeking a self-driven professional to join our team!
WUKO is a third-generation family business that has been crafting European sheet metal working tools for over 70 years. Our tools are known in the sheet metal industry for their top quality, functionality, and design. We manufacture the tools in our production facility in Austria. Our US facility in Greensboro, NC, is where we import and distribute our tools and machinery throughout the Americas.
We are looking for a reliable person with a hands-on mentality who can work with little supervision and likes to bring in her/his ideas. The ideal candidate will be very well-organized and share our passion for helping our company achieve its goals. In a small business setting, all our contributions are immediate and impactful! The position will be based out of our office/warehouse in Greensboro.
Your primary responsibilities will be
- Manage correspondence and liaise with internal and external parties/partners
- Order management from A-Z: Respond to customer inquiries, process and pack orders, organize transports
- Support bookkeeping procedures
- Main responsible for AR and AP
- Assist management with sales activities
- Help coordinate contractor trainings
- Create and update company files and databases
- Anything else that might pop up in a small business environment!
Requirements
- Proven experience (4 years ) in an administrative or operations role required
- Familiarity with administrative procedures and basic accounting principles
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field a plus
- Excellent organizational skills
- Intermediate skills in MS Office
- Previous experience with accounting-/retail management software a plus
- Intercultural awareness
- Spanish language skills would be another plus!
- This job requires the ability to pack and lift objects up to 50 lbs
