Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced veterinary environment.

  • Pay Rate : $14 - $17 per hour (based on experience and assessments)

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience
  • Handle high-volume inbound calls , scheduling appointments, and addressing inquiries
  • Process payments and manage cash handling transactions accurately
  • Maintain organized patient records and file management systems
  • Facilitate client check-in and check-out processes efficiently
  • Assist with prescription refills and product sales at the front desk
  • Coordinate with veterinarians and technicians to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area

    • Skills & Qualifications

  • Exceptional customer service skills – a client-first mindset is a must
  • Prior experience in handling phone calls, scheduling, and customer interaction
  • Cash handling experience, including processing transactions accurately
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes emotional environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Comfort with basic computer and scheduling software
  • Veterinary or medical office experience is a plus, but not required
