What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spanish Teacher- 1.0 FTE position at WUMHS?
Woodstock Union Middle/High School is seeking a full-time Spanish Teacher who can teach a 7-12 curriculum, including various classes and ability levels, from novice to advanced. In addition, the candidate must be familiar with proficiency-based instruction and grading and create standards-based units tied to the ACTFL World Readiness Standards for Learning Languages. The ideal candidate is also willing to help with our thriving international exchange and travel programs. We are looking for a colleague to join a highly collaborative department and to continue our practice of creating engaging lessons that make the process of learning a language inviting and lively.

The ideal candidate will:
- Hold or be eligible to hold a Vermont Educator License with an appropriate world language endorsement.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education.
- Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, time management and collaboration skills.

- Utilize data-driven decision-making to inform instruction and program development.
