Wunderkind is looking for a self-starting and dynamic Customer Success Manager to drive customer satisfaction with a focus on client management and efficiency. The Customer Success Manager role on our Publishers team involves a consultative and holistic approach to both digital marketing and client management — owning the customer lifecycle through comprehensive marketing strategies all the way to renewal. This includes effectively working with service teams to clearly communicate needs, ensuring efficient operations, optimal customer service and next-level results!

Day In The Life

  • Own the relationship and ultimate success of Wunderkind's Publisher clients, including strategy development, campaign execution, data analysis, and renewal.
  • Partner with service team members to delegate work and deliver excellent client outcomes
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customer key stakeholders and executive sponsors to fully understand your client's business strategy and success metrics.
  • Communicate and continuously reinforce how Wunderkind drives performance, what our competitive advantage is, and why it is worth the investment through regular virtual touch points and occasional in-person meetings.
  • Serve as customer advocate internally while effectively collaborating with internal, cross-functional teams including product management, sales, engineering, and design

You Will Stand Out With

  • 2 years experience in Customer Success, Marketing, Publishing, Strategy, or Client Services
  • Demonstrated track record working in a rigorous, results-driven role that directly impacted the growth of a business
  • Excellent communication skills and EQ; you enjoy building relationships, overcoming push back and engaging in high touch client interaction, while setting appropriate expectations with clients
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to project manage, set priorities and stay organized when managing multiple client relationships.
  • Ability to collaborate with partner teams on client requests and service projects on behalf of managed clients
  • Ability to boil down technical concepts into simple terms and develop rapport with clients through clear and professional communication.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and knowledge of reporting tools like Excel and Google Sheets.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with with a healthy dose of humility
  • Demonstrated success in fast-paced and demanding environments; you have a strong bias towards action and accountability
  • A collaborative, team-oriented working style
  • Experience with Analytics platforms (i.e. Google Analytics)
  • Experience working at or with media companies/publishers.
  • Experience working on campaigns with one or more email service providers (ESP)

The base salary range for this role is $70,000-$80,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each specific candidate; including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, applicable certifications, and geographic work location. This may vary depending on living location and market rate.
