We are open to early career Recruiters and HR professional. This position offers a starting base salary of $55,000 - $75,000 annually. Ask about our benefits and employee perks!

About The Team

The people ops team thrives in autonomous environments, leveraging their tech savviness to navigate complex systems and find common solutions. They are approachable and excel at communicating with diverse teams, balancing a need for detail with the ability to make decisive choices amidst ambiguity. The team is composed of strong critical thinkers by nature,and are comfortable adapting strategies as new information emerges.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Ownership: Recruiting recruitment activities, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews as needed.
  • Onboarding/Offboarding: own the full cycle of onboarding and offboarding processes, including HRIS employee recording, IT set up/hardware management, and orientation.
  • Compliance & HR Projects: Par takes in payroll tax compliance and business nexus requirements. Participate in various HR projects and initiatives, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes.
  • Help maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HRIS (Human Resources Information System), ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Assist with benefits enrollment, answer employee inquiries regarding benefits, and support the annual benefits renewal process.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Address employee inquiries and concerns, provide guidance on HR policies, and assist with resolving employee relations issues.
  • Assist with performance review processes, track performance data, and provide administrative support to managers.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, and prepare HR reports as needed.
  • Provide partnership / support to non-US regions as needed for HR activities / issues

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in an HR role.
  • Foundational understanding of HR functional areas.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS and other HR software.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using Google Workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • On track for SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
  • Intermediate experience in manipulating data in spreadsheets
  • Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS.
  • Experience in a start up sized company
