Position Summary:
The Elevator Systems Inside Sales position is responsible for answering incoming customer calls, e-mails, and direct interaction with customer software purchasing systems. Working with customers worldwide and assisting all Wurtec Branch locations as needed; this position will be called upon to handle walk in customers as well as participate in customer visits and training sessions.
Essential Duties include but are not limited to:
- Promotes and demonstrates Wurtec’s core values (dedicated, hardworking, ambitious, willing to accept responsibility, and integrity).
- Answering incoming customer phone calls, e-mails, or Web inquires.
- Have meaningful conversations with customers to manage expectations and lead times.
- Solve customer issues with shipping, warranty replacements, and emergency requests.
- Passionate about delivering quality customer service.
- Clear communication in verbal and written form to a variety of audiences.
- Professional and pleasant telephone manner.
- Collaborate with Operations Manager on Sales or Process initiatives and goals.
- Assist Operations and Manufacturing with MOH’s, Projections, and inventory levels.
- Become knowledgeable in all Wurtec products, how they are used in the field and why they are used.
- Provide technical information including Specification and Instruction manuals.
- Accurately process customer’s transactions such as orders, quotes, and returns. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, while achieving company sales margins and quotas.
- Participate in company directed training and learning sessions.
- Process customer RMA’s and work with our accounting team to ensure products are returned and credited per standard processes of our material management software.
- Full-time/in-person attendance is an essential function of this job.

Technical Skills:
- Strong computer skills, data entry, and Microsoft Office.
- Aptitude for learning company ERP, Epicor.

Education & Experience
- 1 year of related experience (preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED
Work Environment:
This role primarily operates indoors in a climate-controlled environment and is considered sedentary in nature. It requires sitting for long periods of time and occasionally lifts up to 10lbs. Communicating is often necessary in carrying out job duties, near visual acuity, and the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech. This role is not eligible to be considered for full-time hybrid or full-time remote work.
