ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide support to customers seeking technical assistance via helpdesk.
- Evaluate, specify, procure, deploy, maintain and support computing hardware and peripherals, including personal computers, laptops, mobile phones, mobile tablets, thin-clients, printers, storage, backup, etc. Also, includes supporting and training the end-users when applicable.
- Evaluate and install, configure, maintain and support assorted end users software and systems such as office productivity, creativity, communication, security, application development, etc.
- Administer aspects of the computing environment, including user networks accounts, email, accounts, hardware deployment, software installation, and thin-clients devices support.
- Perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions to non-technical users.
- Administer the MDM (Mobile Device Management) software to manage mobile phones and tables.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS :
This is an onsite position working out of the Wurth Louis and Company corporate office in Brea California.
COMPETENCIES :
Education and / or Experience
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred). Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , ITIL, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals).
Pay Rate :
This is a hourly position starting at $28 DOE
Physical Requirements :
This work requires the following physical activities : climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs. of material, finger dexterity for activities such as data entry and calculator use, grasping, repetitive motions, speaking, hearing, visual acuity, and mobility between locations. Use of both hands is required.
