ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Provide support to customers seeking technical assistance via helpdesk.
  • Evaluate, specify, procure, deploy, maintain and support computing hardware and peripherals, including personal computers, laptops, mobile phones, mobile tablets, thin-clients, printers, storage, backup, etc. Also, includes supporting and training the end-users when applicable.
  • Evaluate and install, configure, maintain and support assorted end users software and systems such as office productivity, creativity, communication, security, application development, etc.
  • Administer aspects of the computing environment, including user networks accounts, email, accounts, hardware deployment, software installation, and thin-clients devices support.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions to non-technical users.
  • Administer the MDM (Mobile Device Management) software to manage mobile phones and tables.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Requires three or more years of related computer systems experience, of which, two or more years has been in supporting users in a multi-location LAN / WAN environment. This experience must include networking hardware and software administration in a Microsoft networking environment.
  • Experience with LAN / WAN, switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN is desired.
  • Proven working experience on Mobile Device Management software such as XenMobile, ManageEngine, Intune or similar.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate in English both verbal (especially by telephone) and written. This includes the ability to deal effectively and harmoniously with various personnel both internally and externally. Energy and enthusiasm, and the willingness and ability to stretch and grow, including learning new technologies.
  • Collaborative team player with multi-tasking skills.
  • This is an onsite position working out of the Wurth Louis and Company corporate office in Brea California.

    Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred). Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , ITIL, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals).

    Pay Rate :

    This is a hourly position starting at $28 DOE

    Physical Requirements :

    This work requires the following physical activities : climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs. of material, finger dexterity for activities such as data entry and calculator use, grasping, repetitive motions, speaking, hearing, visual acuity, and mobility between locations. Use of both hands is required.
