What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Support Representative position at Wurth MSM Division?
Overview:
The Sales Support Representative position requires you to efficiently assist customers with all requests including order entry, product inquiry, quotations, order status, website navigation and customer problem solving over the phone. Support outside sales personnel with clerical needs including product research, pricing, quote preparation and follow up.
CORE RESPONSIBITLIES include the following and all other duties assigned:
- Updates customer information in computer system. (SAP knowledge is a plus!)
- Handles all aspects of customer inquiries and requests to include product selection, sample requests, non-stock items, basic returns, price quotes, special pricing, status of orders, etc.
- Makes follow-up calls to customers regarding order information.
- Supplies information to leader and outside sales managers with regard to customer feedback concerning satisfaction of service or products.
- Help customers navigate our website and assist them in placing an online order or registering for an account.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- 2- 3 years of prior customer service and/or sales support experience is a plus.
- Ability to use computers and maneuver through databases and applicable software.
- Excellent phone skills with a professional voice tone when talking with customers and sales managers.
- Ability to handle difficult customer questions or situations.
- Strong organizational, accuracy skills and multi-tasking ability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze situations and make confident, sound decisions.
Pay Range: $20-$21/hr
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, skills, work experience and certifications. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus. An incentive bonus, if any, depends on various factors such as organizational performance.
