Würth USA is targeting an entry-level Outside Sales Territory Representative to serve clients in the Portland, ME area and surrounding cities. Requirements:
- 1 year of sales experience is preferred but willing to train individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic, motivation, and the desire to be successful.
- Ability to connect with decision makers and build lasting relationships
- Comfortable hunting for new business
- Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-visit planning, account development, and time and territory management preferred
- Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Word
- Valid driver's license
- High School Diploma or equivalent in relevant experience
Role Characteristics:
- Engage decision makers through cold calling and prospecting while also engaging pre-existing clients
- Manage a territory, making 8 to 12 daily sales calls on dealerships, collision, and automotive repair facilities
- Represent self as a consultative partner by understanding a customer's business needs and providing solutions
- Provide value added service such as ordering of product, inventory management and problem solving
- Differentiate the quality of Würth products and services from the competition through presentations and demonstrations.
