Position Summary
Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for various facets of HR function including Workforce Management, Talent Acquisition via Recruiting/Onboarding, Payroll processing, Benefits balancing and invoicing, and Unemployment claims processing.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Process Nonexempt and Exempt payroll on a bi-weekly basis and prep and process any payroll reports.
- Post, phone screen, recruit for Exempt and Non-Exempt positions.
- Key all new hire employee information, maintenance, and termination information into HRIS.
- Provide New Hire kits and instructions to enable various branch locations to complete the required information on all new employees on a timely basis.
- Keep all employee personnel files up to date with current documentation.
- Complete employment verifications and unemployment claim forms.
- Assemble and distribute Benefit packages to employees as they become eligible for the company benefits programs, assist employees with Open Enrollment.
- Process internal reports as needed.
- Audit and process vendor invoices, including Benefits Invoices.
- Assist with other various HR projects as needed.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Frequent use of Excel: running reports and using formulas/pivot tables to analyze larger data sets.
- Technical aptitude with various applications or digital tools.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with various audiences.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to solve problems using critical thinking to offer alternative solutions when necessary.

- 1-3 years of human resource experience, or office administration experience
- Payroll experience required; UltiPro/UKG preferred.
