The Hardware Product Specialist role requires the candidate to be creative, analytical & a strategic thinker that contributes to the bottom line of Wurth Wood Group in relation to margin generation & sales growth in all 18 branches. Candidate will be responsible to execute a sales plan regarding selected hardware products across the company while attaining double-digit sales & margin growth on a yearly basis. Execute sales objectives for category based on detailed knowledge of category trends, market pricing, competitors, suppliers, new market entrants, consumer preferences and demographics, as well as other relevant data. Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail along with excellent organization and follow-up abilities are required. This position is a representative of the company and must foster professional and positive interactions with employees and customers at all levels.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Drive double-digit sales & margin growth for hardware on a yearly basis (main priority/responsibility)
- Visit customer segments including, but not limited to Architects, Builders, Designers, Kitchen and Bath Showrooms, large and small commercial and residential cabinet shops
- Work alongside the RSM’s, Sales Reps, Marketing and Purchasing at all locations to drive sales
- Clear, concise communication through all channels required.
- Performs other duties as required and assigned
- Sales training & experience
- Experience with Wurth Marketing program to drive Sales
- Vast experience with hardware (in a Sales and marketing capacity)
- Proficient with Agility and MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts
- Solid decision making skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Must display tact
- Able to multi-task
- Bachelor Degree, in a business related area (or relevant work experience & demonstrated results and knowledge)
- 5 years of sales experience, preferably in hardware products
- Travel requirements 60%
