Corporate Vice President of Sales - WHG
Position Summary :
WHG is seeking a strategic, results-oriented, and hands-on Vice President of Sales to lead revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability across our diverse hotel portfolio. This executive role requires a proven hospitality sales leader with extensive brand experience, deep expertise in sales systems and technology, and a data-driven approach to performance management.
As the VP of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive, brand-aligned sales strategies, optimizing sales technologies, and ensuring our portfolio remains competitive in a dynamic marketplace. You will lead a high-performing sales team, cultivate key business partnerships, and work cross-functionally to maximize revenue potential while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive revenue, market share, and long-term profitability across all properties.
- Leverage deep brand experience to align sales strategies with brand standards, key account structures, and distribution networks.
- Lead, mentor, and manage regional and property-level sales teams, fostering a high-performance, results-driven culture.
- Hands-on management of sales systems and technology platforms, ensuring seamless CRM utilization, sales reporting accuracy, and revenue optimization.
- Conduct in-depth sales performance reviews, leveraging data analytics, market intelligence, and competitive benchmarking to drive informed business decisions.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, meeting planners, and industry organizations to drive group, corporate, and leisure business.
- Collaborate with ownership groups, asset managers, and brand leadership to align sales strategies with broader business and financial objectives.
- Work cross-functionally with revenue management and operations teams to ensure pricing, promotions, and sales initiatives are strategically aligned.
- Drive key business development efforts, including contract negotiations, RFP processes, and strategic account management, to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Establish clear KPIs and performance metrics, ensuring accountability for revenue targets, RevPAR growth, ADR improvement, and conversion rates.
- Manage sales department budgets and financial planning, optimizing spend while ensuring high-impact sales initiatives.
- Represent WHG at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to strengthen brand presence and business development efforts.
- Champion a culture of professional development and talent growth, fostering continuous learning, mentorship, and leadership within the sales organization.
