Golf Course Grounds Crew

Wuskowhan Players Club is a private golf club in West Olive MI. We are currently looking to hire on-time, hard working seasonal grounds crew staff for the 2025 season. Multiple spots are open and we are looking to fill them as soon as possible. Starting date for work is still TBD (weather dependent), but should be no later than the beginning of April.

What we're looking for:

- Ability to work outside all day.
- Available to work Mon-Fri from 6am - 3pm and every other weekend 6am - 9am.
- Ability to work with others at times as well as on your own.
- Ability to be present and on time each morning.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Landscape experience is a bonus but not required.

Work environment / job details:

- Primary tasks include walk-mowing, raking bunkers, laying sod, running backpack blowers and weed whips along with many other day to day golf course tasks.
- 8 hours of work per day with a half-hour (unpaid) lunch. The crew does leave early on Fridays some weeks.
- Opportunity to learn reel mowing on greens and tees, triplex mowing, cup cutting and various other course conditioning tasks as well as operating various pieces of small equipment.

Compensation / Benefits:

- Starting pay of $16-18 / hour plus overtime for hours worked over 40 / week.

- Shirts and hats provided, waterproof work shoes will be needed.

- Employee golf privileges on Mondays after work throughout the summer.

- Potential for pay raise after 30 days worked and potential for a year-end bonus.

These are season long positions that will run approximately early April - end of October (weather dependent). Successful full seasons will give you a priority spot if interested in returning for multiple seasons.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 42 per week
