Wusong Tiki Bar , an award-winning bar and restaurant located in Cambridge, MA, is expanding and seeking a passionate and skilled Jr. Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen while assisting the Head Chef in managing daily operations. This position requires strong knowledge of Asian and Southeast Asian cuisine, food management, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and development, ensuring creativity and seasonal relevance.
- Supervise kitchen staff and oversee food preparation to maintain quality, consistency, and efficiency.
- Manage food service operations during shifts, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate catering services for events, working closely with clients to meet their needs.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist in ordering supplies, and ensure cost control measures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards.
