General Description
Join Our Caring Team as a Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) Nurse!

Compile and enter data into compliance databases. (ORYX, Restraint, Employee and patient Incident Reports). Gather data information upon request. Assist the Quality Department with all aspects of regulatory compliance and accreditation activities under the direction of the Chief Quality Officer. Collaborate with departments for assignment and completion of Apparent Cause Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Multi-Disciplinary Review, and Leadership Event Review reports under the direction of the Chief Quality Officer and follow-up with the management team to ensure action plans have been completed, tracked, trended, and analyzed. Complete chart audits as assigned for incident reporting follow-up. Review patient records to collect performance data to compile into the required monthly reports. Complete all chart audits assigned daily by the Chief Quality Officer to ensure completion and accuracy of all documentation for any patient safety event. Compile data for reporting to the assigned committees. Fax, copy, e-mail and file relevant documents, and compose correspondence as needed. Performs related duties as required. Mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position.

Applicants selected must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug and alcohol screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug and alcohol testing for probable cause as set forth in bureau and agency polices. Applicants selected must successfully complete a background check. This is a tobacco free campus.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: None.

Licensure/Certifications: Current West Virginia licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).

Experience: Three (3) years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in nursing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.42 - $48.63 per hour
