Nature of Work
Under close supervision, this entry-level position will perform analytical, diagnostic, and epidemiological laboratory testing in the Diagnostic Immunology Section. Duties include rapid latex particle agglutination, rapid plasma reagin, multiplex enzyme immunoassay, and nucleic acid amplification testing. Employee will also perform a variety of general laboratory duties, quality assurance, and quality control activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Training: Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in a biological, microbiological, chemical, or environmental science, medical technology, molecular biology, forensic science or related field.
Special Requirement: For positions which involve processing and analysis of human specimens and/or the generation or interpretation of laboratory results that may be used in the diagnosis or treatment of a disease or condition in humans, the incumbent must have or be eligible for licensure as a WV Clinical Laboratory Practitioner as required by 64 C.S.R.§57.
Salary : $39,461 - $68,582
