Job Summary : The Therapist is an experienced, communicative, and compassionate professional responsible to support the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of our clients. In this role, you will work directly with clients to actively listen to problems and concerns and suggest healthy and productive ways of coping with those issues especially relating to their recovery journey. This role requires someone who enjoys working closely with people not just with clients, but also with other members of our team and occasionally outside agencies.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field
  • Current with all state licensing requirements such as LPC, LICSW, LCSW, licensed psychologist, and LMFT
  • Some clinical experience preferred

    Role and Responsibilities

  • Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients.
  • Maintain ethical boundaries with clients.
  • Diagnose and treat mental health disorders and substance use disorders.
  • Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances.
  • Meet with patients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Communicate with other members of coordinated care team.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress.
  • Involve and advises family members when appropriate.
  • Refer patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary.
  • Maintain thorough records of patient meetings and progress, both in electronic and paper records, meeting or exceeding Medicaid documentation expectations.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintains client confidentiality.
  • Contribute to practice by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
  • Review and sign on all treatment plans within the agency.
  • Complete and maintain updated authorizations and units of clients.
  • Conduct group and individual therapy sessions.
  • Conduct at least 20-25 hours of sessions per week as assigned, 40 hours total in office to complete documentation and administrative tasks.
  • Participate in and grow intensive outpatient services as assigned.
  • Participate in and grow SUD residential programs as assigned.
  • Participate in audits and reviews.
  • Be on-call for crisis calls for an amount of time specified as equal to other clinicians. On-call schedules will be updated monthly.
  • Cover groups and other clinician’s clients while clinicians are on vacation or medical leave.
  • Maintaining on-time billing and appropriate documentation of such.
  • Maintain close relationships with office staff, assessors, PRSS, Supportive Counselor, and supervise and train supportive counselors, keeping them informed of treatment needs weekly.
  • Maintain updated spreadsheets on Microsoft TEAMS.
  • Maintain updated calendars in Outlook and electronic scheduling records.
  • Attend monthly meetings and supervision.
  • Completing assessments as needed and assigned.
  • Reviewing assessments completed for all clients and submitting for authorizations.
  • Attend trainings and meetings as assigned.
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends, technologies, and interventions.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisors and directors.
  • Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
